Aloe Vera for the Body
1. Aloe Vera as After Sun
The basic rule is: always protect your skin with sunscreen, even if it's cloudy or you spend a lot of time in the shade. Sun rays always penetrate. Especially when it's windy, it's easy to get the impression that it's not that warm.
However, after a sunny day, you can use our Aloe Vera Gel as after-sun care because it has a cooling effect and provides a lot of moisture. Aloe Vera Gel soothes your skin after sunbathing and even relieves painful sunburns. Simply apply the Aloe Vera Gel with your hands all over your body.

2. French Clay - Aloe Vera Body Mask
French Clay serves as a body mask and has a soothing, cleansing, and antibacterial effect. The easiest way to apply the body mask is before showering. What you need:
- 1/2 cup Wild Baboon Aloe Vera Gel
- 1 cup green tea
- 1/2 cup bentonite
- 8-10 drops Wild Baboon Prickly Pear Seed Oil
Brew a cup of green tea and let it steep for 10-15 minutes. Mix all ingredients well and add a little more bentonite if it is too liquid. Spread French Clay gently all over your body or on selected areas, such as the face and décolleté, and wash it off with warm water after 15-20 minutes.
3. Aloe Vera Cream
Aloe Vera cream moisturizes your skin, prevents blemishes, is good for acne, has antibacterial and soothing effects, and thus counteracts inflammation. What you need:
- 5-6 tablespoons Wild Baboon Aloe Vera Gel
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 2 drops Wild Baboon Prickly Pear Seed Oil
Combine all ingredients in a blender and then store the cream in an airtight container of your choice. Apply the cream as needed.
4. Aloe Vera Sugar Scrub
To nourish stressed skin with good oils, remove dead skin cells, and at the same time provide plenty of moisture, an Aloe Vera Sugar Scrub is perfect. You need:
- 30 ml liquid coconut oil
- 3 tablespoons Wild Baboon Organic Aloe Vera Gel
- 300 g sugar
- 30 ml almond oil
- a few drops of essential oil as desired (optional)
- a few flowers, if intended as a gift (optional)
Mix the coconut oil, our Aloe Vera Gel, sugar, and almond oil into a homogeneous mass. If you like, add a few drops of essential oil of your choice. The homemade scrub can be stored for up to eight weeks. In general, you should store the Aloe Vera Sugar Scrub in a cool, dry, and preferably dark place.
Aloe Vera for the Face
5. Aloe Vera Facial Scrub
A scrub made from Aloe Vera, coffee, salt, and jojoba oil removes dead skin cells, refines pores, has a moisturizing effect, and perfectly prepares your skin for subsequent care. You need:
- 1 tablespoon Wild Baboon Aloe Vera Gel
- 1 tablespoon coffee grounds
- 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1 tablespoon Wild Baboon Prickly Pear Seed Oil
First, mix all ingredients into a paste and apply it evenly to your face, neck, and décolleté with a brush, avoiding the eye area and lips. Leave on for a few minutes and then gently massage the skin with small circular movements. Finally, rinse off the scrub with plenty of lukewarm water and gently pat the skin dry. The scrub leaves your complexion fresh and rosy, promotes cell renewal, and provides plenty of moisture.
Caution: If you are prone to severe facial redness (couperose, rosacea) and broken capillaries, you should generally avoid facial scrubs!
6. Aloe Vera Face Mask
The active ingredients of Aloe Vera, cucumber, and mint enhance each other when you make this Aloe Vera face mask yourself. After this mask, your skin will look more beautiful in a completely natural way. You need:
- 1/2 cucumber
- 1-2 tablespoons Wild Baboon Aloe Vera Gel
- 1 tablespoon Wild Baboon Prickly Pear Seed Oil
- A few leaves of fresh mint
Cucumber enzymes promote skin renewal and refine pores, aloe binds moisture, mint has a cleansing and disinfecting effect. Wash the cucumber and blend it with our Aloe Vera Gel, prickly pear seed oil, and mint in a blender. Apply the mask generously to your face and neck and let it sit for 20-30 minutes. Then wash it off with lukewarm water. Perfect for a relaxing spa day.

7. Aloe Vera Facial Toner for Oily and Blemish-Prone Skin
You can integrate facial toner into your skincare routine both mornings and evenings. By applying the facial toner to a reusable makeup remover pad and wiping it over your skin, you remove any remaining makeup or soap residue. Facial toners can also have a soothing or disinfecting effect, depending on the ingredients. For a facial toner for oily and blemish-prone skin, you will need:
- 80 ml witch hazel water
- 20 ml Wild Baboon Aloe Vera Gel
Mix the witch hazel water with the Aloe Vera Gel and pour it into a small, clean bottle. Use reusable cotton pads for application and avoid your mouth and eye area.

8. Aloe Vera Facial Toner for Dry Skin
If you have dry skin, then you should try this homemade facial toner. You need:
- Marigold and chamomile blossoms
- Hot water
- 1-2 tablespoons Wild Baboon Aloe Vera Gel
Brew a strong decoction of marigold and chamomile blossoms. Let the tea cool down and strain the liquid. Mix the decoction with one to two teaspoons of aloe vera gel and your homemade facial toner is ready. It's best to store it in a small, clean bottle.
9. Aloe Vera Facial Toner for Combination and Normal Skin
For combination skin and relatively uncomplicated skin, you can also use your own variant of facial toner. You need:

Aloe Vera for Hair
10. Aloe Vera Gel as a Leave-in Conditioner
Pure Aloe Vera Gel alone provides so much moisture. You can simply apply it to your hair after washing. Depending on hair length and density, you will need 1-3 pumps of Wild Baboon Aloe Vera Gel. Briefly distribute the gel in your hands and then massage it into the hair ends and lengths. After 15-20 seconds, it should be absorbed and your hair should be easy to comb.

11. Aloe Vera Shampoo for Sensitive Scalp
Aloe Vera shampoo is particularly ideal for sensitive, dry, and irritated scalps and can also help with itchy scalps, as occurs with neurodermatitis or psoriasis. In addition, inflammation can also be reduced by Aloe Vera shampoo. For the hair shampoo made from Aloe Vera, you need:
- 60 ml liquid Castile soap
- 60 ml Wild Baboon Aloe Vera Gel
- 5 ml glycerine
- 1 ml Wild Baboon Prickly Pear Seed Oil
- Measuring cup
- Mixing bowl
- Bottle
- Spoon
- Funnel
- Towel
- Essential oils (optional)
Put the Castile soap, Wild Baboon Aloe Vera Gel, prickly pear seed oil, and glycerin into a bowl and mix everything carefully with a spoon. If you like, you can also add a few drops of essential oils. You can pour the finished Aloe Vera shampoo into a clean bottle with a funnel. You can use the shampoo for three weeks without any problems.
Before each use, you should shake the shampoo well, as individual components can settle over time. Massage in the shampoo, rinse it out well, and blow-dry your hair or let it air dry.
12. Aloe Vera Spray Treatment
Whether before or after washing your hair, the Aloe Vera hairspray provides moisture and ensures supple hair. You need:
- 500 ml distilled water
- 60 ml Wild Baboon Aloe Vera Gel
- 3 tablespoons Wild Baboon Prickly Pear Seed Oil
- Spray bottle
Put all the ingredients listed above into a bowl and stir everything well before pouring the mixture into a spray bottle. You can now apply the Aloe Vera spray directly to dry hair. You must ensure that the spray is evenly distributed and maintain a distance of about 30 centimeters. For thick hair, massage the spray into the hair.
You could also apply the spray to towel-dried hair after washing. Let the Aloe Vera spray work for about 3 to 7 minutes and then rinse it out with lukewarm to cold water. Alternatively, you can leave the hairspray on overnight and use it as a hair mask.

13. Aloe Vera Mask for Dry and Flaky Scalp
The numerous nutrients in Aloe Vera restore moisture to dry hair and strengthen the hair structure. The gel can also work wonders against dry and flaky scalp. For this, you can simply massage the gel into your scalp and leave it on for 30-60 minutes - or overnight if needed.
14. Aloe Vera for Styling Curls
You can use Aloe Vera Gel as an alternative or in addition to regular gel. It helps define curls. To do this, knead 1-2 pumps of Wild Baboon Aloe Vera Gel into wet hair. The wetter the hair, the better. Then let the hair air dry or blow-dry as usual.
If you want to refresh your curls on the second day after washing or after sleeping, the Aloe Vera Gel can help you again. You can knead the pure gel into your hair to further define them. If that's too strong for you, dilute the Aloe Vera Gel with a little water and apply it to your hair. If you like it very thin, you can even put it in a spray bottle and spray your hair.
15. Hair Treatment Pralines
These homemade hair treatment pralines with Aloe Vera have a repairing and soothing effect, provide moisture, and combat dry and flaky skin. You need:
- 80-100 ml coconut milk
- 40-50 ml Wild Baboon Aloe Vera Gel
- Essential oils of your choice
Mix everything together, pour the liquid into ice cube molds, and then put them in the freezer. Before washing your hair, take out a praline and let it warm up for a few minutes. Now apply it to your hair and scalp, leave it on for 5-10 minutes, and then rinse thoroughly.
