The exchange with our Wild Baboon Community is very important to us. We are always happy to hear about your experiences with our Aloe Vera Gel and our Aloe Vera Direct Juice. In this article, Jens from Noch3 tells us how he fasts and shares his experiences with us. The Noch3 studio in Cologne pursues a smart training approach that includes elements such as natural movements, breathing, stretching, climbing, dancing, and much more, so that you can get and stay fit playfully. Here you can find out how Jens fasts.
Why Fast?
My good friend Nicole asked me to introduce her to the benefits of fasting and to write a simple guide on the subject of fasting. Nici from Wild Baboon (best Aloe Vera Direct Juice) is an ambitious and creative woman who has set out to improve human well-being with an organically grown product. Establishing one's own brand without hitting one's limits due to stress is hard enough. Nici has long since understood how to take targeted breaks and hit the reset button. A nice trip, a short excursion into nature, or a jump into the ice-cold lake can work wonders. That's why she still seems very balanced and full of drive to me today.
Fasting can also get us out of our comfort zone in a simple way. Firmly anchored in many Eastern cultures, a large part of the health system in Russia, fasting is a way for many people to hit that reset button. I have felt the same for 5 years. A feeling of new beginnings, of cell renewal, of detoxification and cleansing, and a sharpening of the senses and inner focus.

How I fast:
5 to 6 days a week, I do intermittent fasting. This means I only drink water and tea for 16 to 18 hours. After that, I eat 80% "eat-clean" and 20% what I enjoy. You can learn more about my diet here.
Once a month, I fast for 36 hours. Sunday evening is my last meal. I spend Sunday in the sauna and then go to the lake for ice bathing. During this time, I drink 3 liters of water mixed with 1 liter of Aloe Vera Direct Juice. Basically, fasting like Gandhi, but without the pressure to protect an entire country from colonization. Gandhi had fasting periods of up to 21 days to support his peaceful resistance with a symbolic act. If Gandhi can do 21 days, you will certainly survive 36 hours of fasting.
Twice a year, I fast for 3 to 4 days to get out of my personal comfort zone. To focus my mind on what is truly important in life. To feel what it's like for other people in need who are hungry, to give my body a break from consumption and excess. Most of the time, I'm in nature with my dog and my van to fast. I focus on breathing, playing the handpan, and experimenting with movements. I try to be in the water a lot to absorb fluids through the skin. I drink 3 to 4 liters of water, tea, and Wild Baboon is always there.
You can find the benefits of fasting on the blog of my gym.
