We recommend taking a double shot (40ml) each morning and evening as a small daily ritual. For people with specific ailments or planning an intensive course, for example during a fasting cure, the dose can be doubled. It should be taken for at least one month. Many of our loyal customers incorporate the juice permanently into their daily routine after the initial intensive course, with at least one 40ml shot in the morning and/or evening.

Since our organic direct juice does not contain aloin, which would have a laxative effect if consumed excessively, there are no known side effects. The aloe vera plant protects itself from predators with the bitter substance aloin.

Wild Baboon's Aloe Vera Gel was developed to be natural, vegan, and preserved as little as possible. Since it is very gentle on our skin, it can even be used on mucous membranes, i.e., in the mouth or in the intimate area. The plants come from our organic partner farm in Mexico. This sustainable family business uses renewable energy for its entire production! No pesticides or chemical fertilizers are used on the soil where the plants thrive. Instead, a natural fertilizer is made from the leftover aloe vera (using a self-developed process), ensuring that the nutrients return to the soil while enriching the organic aloe vera and helping it develop succulent leaf fillets.

The plump organic aloe vera leaves are harvested by hand, then thoroughly washed and processed immediately to preserve as many nutrients as possible. The ends of the leaves and the thorns are cut off. These parts also contain most of the substance aloin, which is undesirable in high-quality organic products. This substance serves the plant as protection against predators, but when consumed in excess by humans, it has a laxative and irritating effect.

Subsequently, most of the leaf rind is removed, but not all of it, because the leaf rind also contains many nutrients that benefit us. The filleted pieces are then broken down so that all the plant "blisters" burst open and the valuable aloe vera juice is released. This direct juice is then pasteurized for 2-3 seconds to make it shelf-stable, so that we can use it here in Germany without excessive preservation.

During the brief heating, the enzymes are inactivated, but the remaining nutrient profile is preserved. As with cooking our food, some substances are even activated and made usable for humans. The brief heating is therefore a good solution to be able to offer high-quality organic direct juice. In Germany, the juice is then bottled and delivered to our homes in 1-liter bottles. This allows us to enjoy 99.9% pure aloe vera direct juice in organic quality without preservatives. The juice is only mixed with 0.1% citric acid to stabilize the pH value, so that it can be kept in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks after opening and consumed. Unopened, the juice has a shelf life of 1.5 years.

The gel is made from the pure concentrate of the juice in German laboratories and is mixed with natural xanthan gum and citric acid for stabilization. Since aloe vera is an extremely sensitive plant, potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate are added in small amounts >1%. Both substances are approved for natural cosmetics and help to ensure that the gel is stable for over 12 months after opening.

With the recommended amount of 40ml each morning and evening, one litre of juice lasts approximately 12 days. A pack of six will therefore last over 2 months, allowing you to provide your body with a real treat and an exceptional combination of nutrients for less than €1.40 per day.
